A whispered lullaby is cut through by blasts of synthetic noise. The music of "Home, Part 2" evokes the peace and the tumult of babyhood. The lyrics are a father's reflection on the first month of his child's life, his hopes and fears for the future. He makes a modest declaration of unconditional love to the infant... You will be safe here. We will provide comfort and calm. No matter how bad it gets, you can always come home.

Haunting chord progressions, angelic vocals, and soaring strings are undercut by a menacing growl, making "Love and Misdirection" a unique musical experience. The lyrics reflect on life with a toddler, the small scale redirection that parents employ to break them from their temporary obsessions, and the long game misdirection that we use, trying to make them see the good in us while hiding the ugly or shameful sides of our personalities as best we can: Don't be like me, be the person I wanted to be.
The "KIDS" EP arrives on streaming services Father's Day, 2022.
